When my clients’ future is on the line, I give it everything I got.
I don't care who you are, whether you’ve got one dollar to your name or a million dollars, I realize that if you’re sitting in the defendant’s chair, what you want, what you need is a someone who is willing to fight for you and your Rights.
When someone in government or law enforcement or a fellow attorney needs a criminal attorney to represent themselves or a love one, I'm the first one they turn to because they
know I will fight to the end vigorously with determination and committment to being the best attorney in the courtroom.
That determination and committment to being the best lawyer has led to several honors in being recognized as the best attorney. When with the Cochran Firm, I was nominated as their best attorney. Recently, I was nominated as Long Beach's best criminal defense attorney.
EXPERIENCE
Many of the cases listed below have no commonality, except for one point. What they have in common is an energetic criminal defense attorney who wins the respect of his clients, jurors, law enforcement, prosecutors and judges alike and has a client list that’s a who’s who of high-profile Los Angeles crime. I enjoy my practice since I get to help those that many turn their back on. My cases include DUIs to murder. Many of the DUIs are first time offenders, but had several
fourth time
DUI offenders. The DUIs are too numerous to list, so I won't. Some, but not all, of the more serious crimes are listed below:
In 1998, the US Treasury Department announced the results of "Operation Casablanca," a three year investigation into drug trafficking and money laundering that has culminated in indictments against three Mexican banking institutions and the arrest of more than two hundred individuals, many of them mid-level banking officials representing twelve of Mexico's nineteen largest banks. In addition to the indictments,
seizures of more than a hundred bank accounts in the US and Europe were expected to net more than 130 million dollars.
In May 2002, Federal prosecutors moved to seize the Los Angeles Cannabis Resource Center (LACRC) using federal asset forfeiture provisions. The LACRC, which was famous for working closely with federal, state and local officials and for its scrupulous adherence to California's medical marijuana law, was raided by the DEA in October 2001, when armed agents seized patient records and medical marijuana being grown at
the center. In a forfeiture action filed May 31, 2002, in US District Court in Los Angeles, federal prosecutors argued that Proposition 215, the ballot initiative that legalized medical marijuana in California, was invalidated by federal law and did not provide a defense against asset forfeiture proceedings under federal law.
